DESCRIPTION

Dhaninallah Mangrove Walkway is a 713-meter wooden boardwalk through mangrove forests, offering close views of birds, marine life, and the region’s rich ecosystem. It leads to Dhaninallah Beach, a peaceful 5-km beach and an important Olive Ridley turtle nesting site. Nearby Cuthbert Bay Wildlife Sanctuary supports turtle conservation, making the area ideal for nature lovers.

TIMINGS TO VISIT AT DHANINALLAH MANGROVE WALKWAY

The best time to visit Dhaninallah Beach and Dhaninallah Mangrove Walkway is from November to February, when Olive Ridley turtles nest on the shore and visitors may witness hatchlings heading to the sea. Both places remain open year-round, but this season offers a special wildlife experience.

HOW TO REACH AT DHANINALLAH MANGROVE WALKWAY

From Port Blair (By Road): Travel by bus or taxi to Rangat (about 6–7 hours), then hire local transport to Betapur/Dhaninallah (≈20–25 km). By Sea: Passenger ferries run from Port Blair to Rangat (≈8 hours), followed by a short road trip to the site. From Rangat: Hire a taxi or rent a vehicle to reach the walkway and beach at Betapur.
